Rally 2008

Stanford Hall in Leicestershire was the venue for our 2008 rally on Sunday 6 July. This impressive Hall has been the home of the Cave family, ancestors of the present owner Nicholas Fothergill, since 1430. Several members and wives/partners enjoyed an excellent dinner at the Greyhound Coaching Inn & Hotel in nearby Lutterworth on the previous evening.

For the second year running the weekend weather forecast was poor. Despite this, the turn-out was excellent and the sun did manage a short visit with members able to enjoy a pleasant day.
